The Department
The Department of Human Nutrition was founded in 1986 as the first Danish research institution dedicated to research into human nutrition, and to advising other public and private institutions on nutrition issues.
The Department currently employs 131 people, 50 of whom are Ph.D. students. Of these positions, excluding Ph.D. stipendia, 29 are funded by the University and 52 are funded by research grants. There are 82 academic staff, including Ph.D students, and 49 technical-administrative support staff.
