Prevention and Treatment of Obesity and Appetite and Energy Metabolism

Professor, M.Sc. in food and nutrition from 1989 and PhD from 1994 at the Department of Human Nutrition. Research stays in Maastricht, NL (1995) and Lund, SE (2002). In the period 2004 - 2010 manager of clinical trials within diabetes and obesity in the pharmaceutical industry.  

Paediatric Nutrition and International Nutrition 

Medical doctor since 1976 and doctor of medical sciences since 1997 with dissertation on nutrition and growth during infancy.

Professor in paediatric nutrition at the department since 1998 and part-time consultant at the Paediatric Nutrition Unit, Rigshospitalet.

Consultant for the National Board of Health since 1994.
